Ensure our neighborhood continues to have a strong and knowledgeable voice in the complex zoning and land development issues presented by Main Line Health’s redevelopment plans to create a Wellness Village.
Mitigate the potential impacts on traffic and monitor effects on the use of Lankenau Hospital.
Support a balance of appropriate density and open space to create a positive amenity for our community and the township.
Continue addressing dangerous intersections with innovative strategies that have proven effective to prevent speeding through our neighborhood streets.
Continue to lead the rollout of a sidewalk network throughout Penn Wynne and the township to provide safe connections to our schools, public transit, businesses and parks.
Support the Lower Merion Police Department's community engagement initiatives.
Encourage park stewardship. Neighborhood parks are central to our community — not only for recreation, but also to stabilize environmental health through stormwater management, restoration of stream banks and tree canopies, and the use of native plants. I will continue prioritizing our parks and partnering with Park Friends groups to improve and protect our township parks.
Integrate Penn Wynne into the township’s Main Line Greenway plan for a network of trails and bike lanes. This will promote sustainable transportation, reduce auto emissions, and increase connectivity.
Facilitate implementation of climate change reduction actions, including the promotion of the pilot solar panel project at Penn Wynne Library, support composting initiatives and infrastructure improvements, and replacing the gas-powered leaf blowers with electric.
Facilitate a thriving, walkable “Village of Penn Wynne” to support our library, firehouse, and local businesses as the core of our neighborhood to encourage gathering and build community.
Send regular monthly newsletters and host meetups/Zoom opportunities.
Provide updates and discussion at monthly Penn Wynne Civic Association meetings.
Hold town halls provide information on current issues and encourage neighbor input.
Create stronger ties between the Board of Commissioners and the Lower Merion School Board through regular communication and engagement.
Break down barriers and strengthen our community via my “People in Our Neighborhood” speaker series.
